Tonya Johnson believes EVERY body can benefit from yoga. Aside from the proven physical benefits; yoga heals the mind and the spirit.
Tonya is a Georgia based yoga instructor that offers a variety of local group classes, small group sessions and one on one yoga training. She is a registered and certified yoga instructor (200 hour) and has enjoyed a personal yoga practice for over 25 years. She was previously certified as Yogafit instructor and was an ACE certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor with her own business in New York. After experiencing the tremendous life changing benefits of yoga, both on and off the mat, she decided to advance her training in order to share this great practice.
Tonya’s classes encourage moving with strength and power while listening to the body and gently exploring its “edges.” She particularly enjoys teaching the fundamental principles that comprise this sacred practice to those that previously felt yoga was not for them.
